Lilleshall’s u10s are another bunch of rising stars comprising some real talent for the future. They played just four games winning two and losing two (a fifth match had to be cancelled) but they have also impressed in training both in effort and attitude. Some of these children will step up to u11 next season where the change to Twenty20 cricket after the pairs format will present new challenges we are sure they will enjoy.
It should also be noted that Lilleshall u10 player Megan Trickett, has been selected to play for the Shropshire u13 girls team. Megan, a pupil at Moorfield school, follows in the footsteps of Hayley Robinson who has been playing for Shropshire Ladies senior team this season.
Many congratulations to Megan on this achievement and to the entire squad.
