League Result
Lilleshall have a had a terrific squad of talented young players this season who have finished outright winners of the East Shrosphire Cricket Board u11B League with an unbeaten record in 11 matches. League tables are available via the blog.
Although this is not a true league in a fully competitive sense, the statistics speak for themselves and it is a huge credit to the u11 side given that they have such a young squad of players. Such was the quality of their performance that all squad members received a commemorative medal at the 2011 presentation and a framed copy of an article championing their exploits that was published in the Newport Advertiser.
A fantastic set of team and individual performances that have left the u11 coaches struggling for superlatives – we look forward to more next year at both u11 and u13, as the older boys progress to u13 cricket. Congratulations and well done to all concerned.
