Bavarian Oompah Night
Dig out your lederhosen and charge your steins as Bavarian Oompah comes to Lilleshall Cricket Club.Â
As a season send off, Skipper Will Askin is organising a Bavarian Oompah Night. For those who have never been to or seen one of these, they are great fun and deliver total audience participation. Strictly for adults only, as the idea of the night is to swill as much beer as possible and sing and dance in sync to the band, making complete idiots of yourselves.
Cost will be £10 per ticket, so come along and see the season off in style. It promises to be a fabulous evening, and weather dependant, we will do it outside, sitting on hay bales around lines of trestle tables.
For more information and to reserve a ticket, contact Will Askin (willaskin©hotmail•com) .

Summer Cricket Camp – Juniors Age 8-13
Following on from last year’s successful event, Lilleshall Cricket Club is delighted to announce the return of our Summer Cricket Camp run by Oli Todd. This one week programme is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the game and develop skills. Children can attend either for the full week or for one or more days.
- a wide variety of small games;
- competitive play in short matches; and
- strong emphasis on taking part and having fun.
Children should attend wearing suitable clothing (any training kit and sports trainers will do – full cricket kit is not required); bring plenty to drink and a packed lunch.
If hot weather is forecast please remember to bring a hat and ensure adequate sun protection is applied.
If you are interested in registering your child or if you have any further questions; please contact Oli Todd (oli_todd©hotmail•co•uk) .
Oli is a member of the senior squad at Lilleshall making regular appearances in the First and Second XI, he is also a Level 2 ECB coach and has been a regular sight in local schools working with youngsters on the Chance To Shine programme. Oli has a degree in Sports Development and Coaching and holds current enhanced CRB, First Aid and Child Protection certification.
